What is MetaPWR?

MetaPWR is a unique 30-minute metabolic resistance workout (for all fitness levels) that has been carefully designed by industry experts. Metabolic resistance training (MRT) is one of the best, most intense strategies for building muscle, burning fat, and improving overall physical fitness. MRT maximises your potential for change and unleashes metabolic forces that work all day and night.

Why Is It So Effective?

MRT uses big compound movements (multi-joint) so you get a full body workout that works all the major muscles. In MetaPWR, you use equipment such as kettlebells, power bags, slam balls, battle ropes etc to build muscle mass and spike the heart rate. More muscles used = more calories burned. During a 30-minute MetaPWR workout, you burn hundreds of calories, but what's more important is what you burn AFTER your workout. Because its a maximum effort, huff n puff kind of training with short rest periods, you create an Excessive Post-Exercise Oxygen Consumption (EPOC - also known as the Afterburn). Your body then burns lots of calories after your workout to return your body to balance. It does this for up to 48 hours, and its choice of fuel is stored body fat. It's one of the most effective ways to boost your metabolism, helping your body to maximise fat burning when you are at rest. And all in only 30 minutes!

Hi, I'm Ruth Wilkinson. Personal Trainer, Pn1 Certified Nutrition Coach and mum.

I've been working with people in the Queenstown region for more than 10 years, helping them to improve their lives through exercise and better nutrition. It's my passion.

And I'm super excited to bring MetaPWR to Queenstown and show locals the amazing benefits that busy people can get from this short and effective workout!

My classes are small groups, so I can focus on YOU. Helping you to execute and maintain safe technique is my priority, whilst pushing you to get the most from your workout - and therefore the best results.
